Biscayne Fishing Report – Scale House
February 11, 2026 Key Biscayne 1 photo

Trip Summary

Monday out of Biscayne the mahi were chewing. Clean blue water pushed in around 150–200 ft with a nice color change and light east wind 10–12 knots. Seas 1–2 ft, easy ride. Found fish on weed lines and debris, mostly 5–12 lbs with a few solid bulls mixed in. Ballyhoo and bright skirts got it done. Once you found the current seam, it was game time. Yesterday the reef lit up. Bonitas were fired up in 80–120 ft crushing feathers, and the vermilion snapper were steady on the deeper ledges 140–200 ft. Had to stay vertical with the drift, but once dialed in it was drop and bend. Water’s clean, bait’s around, and Biscayne’s acting right. If the weather holds steady, we staying on that bite.
