Fishing Report – Out of Biscayne Bay ??
February 24, 2026 Key Biscayne 1 photo

Trip Summary

Today gave us classic winter Biscayne energy. Cool start, clear skies, and that steady breeze putting texture on the water. Conditions: • Moderate NE breeze throughout the morning • 1–2 ft seas inside the bay • Light to moderate chop, especially in open stretches • Clean visibility with sun high and bright It wasn’t glass, but it was fishable. The kind of day where boat handling matters and you work your drifts smart. The Bite: ? Sharks were active and aggressive. Solid runs, heavy pressure, no hesitation. ⚡ Jacks came through in packs, hitting hard and fast. ✂️ Plenty of cut-offs. If it had teeth, it showed them. Leader upgrades were not optional today. Overall action stayed steady. Not a numbers day, but definitely a pull-back kind of day. Rods bent, reels sang, and the predators were in a mood. Biscayne didn’t whisper today. It growled a little. If you’re heading out tomorrow, bring wire, bring patience, and bring that fight. ??
