Trip Summary

Great weather after a serious cold front. We got an early start that put us on some nice Slabs. The Crappies were in a frenzy at 1st light then slowed down when the sun came up. We trolled and threw a few jigs. We caught a few but not as many as we wouldve liked. Overall we ended up with a mixed bag of Bass and Crappies.

Coldwater and Mountain views. The Walleye were not interested but the Pickerel were on Fire. Hit after hit… The larges landed was close to 24”. We also caught a few nice eating size yellow perch.

Fishing in the Afternoon allowed the water temp to rise a bit after the cold front moved out from last week. The HybridStripedBass and SpottedBass were hitting on the troll. These fish provided some great action.
