Trip Summary

We fished Lake Oconee at 1st light slowly trolling jigs for Crappie. The air temps dropped from the day before making it pretty chilly. The fish were slow to bite on the troll so we pitched jigs around docks. We began to pick up small SpottedBass on the deep water docks so we moved in shallower and that's when it all started. The Black Crappies started to bite. We fished in 2ft of water at started catching fish after fish. I can't wait to go back. My client learned a lot and had fun catching these aggressive Black Crappies and Spotted Bass.
