KINGFISH DAY OFF BISCAYNE — DRAG SCREAME

March 24, 2026 Key Biscayne 1 photo

Trip Summary

Strong offshore conditions with light wind early, clean blue water pushing in, and solid current along the edge. Bait was stacked in the right zones and everything offshore had that “kingfish” feel from the start. The kingfish bite was the main event and it delivered steady action throughout the day. Fast hits, screaming runs, and multiple hookups kept the rods bent once we locked into the right stretch. Every stop along the edge had potential, and when they showed up, it was instant chaos around the boat. Plenty of surface activity offshore too — birds working and bait getting pushed tight to the current lines, setting up perfect conditions for consistent action. Classic South Florida kingfish day — fast bites, hard fights, and nonstop energy from start to finish.
