Smallies and largies oh my

Big Green Lake was rolling today, with 3-foot waves charging down the lake thanks to the strong wind. Despite the challenging conditions, the clients worked hard and were rewarded with some quality bass. Crankbaits, jigs, and tubes were the main producers, and while the bite wasn't easy, persistence paid off. The highlight of the day was a true giant largemouth that made the trip one to remember! All in all, it turned into a great day on the water. The clients had a blast, caught some quality fish, and made some lasting memories.

Despite the heat and the storms moving through the area, Big Green Lake produced very well today. The water has cleared up nicely, and the fishing continues to improve. My clients had a great day on the water, with lots of action, including plenty of follows, blowups, and fish caught. Everyone landed fish and went home happy. The water temperature was 72 degrees, and most of the algae seems to have been blown away, making conditions much better for fishing. Overall, it was a fun and productive day on the water. Today was a fantastic day on the water with my clients during a half-day morning trip on Green Lake, Wisconsin. Despite the overcast skies, the fishing conditions were excellent. We located several pods of baitfish and worked them effectively using drop shots and tube baits. The fish were aggressive and active, making for an exciting morning. One of the highlights of the trip was a client landing his very first smallmouth bass—his smile said it all! In just a few hours, we boated big northern pike, rock bass, and some great smallmouth. It was an action-packed outing, and I couldn’t be happier with how the day turned out. Looking forward to seeing these clients again soon for more time on the water!
