Had a father and son join us for an early morning summer session on the water. The day started at dawn with perfect conditions for our 5 Hour Bay Fishing Trip. We headed out with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures ready to put some lines in the water and see what the bay had to offer.
We focused our efforts on bottom fishing throughout the morning. The speckled trout were cooperative, and we managed to put several in the boat using these proven techniques. The bay fishing really shines when you can mix up your approach like this - drifting over structure, working the bottom in deeper holes, and covering water with the trolling spread. We wrapped up the trip with solid action and a cooler with some nice trout to take home.
