RockenReel Sportfishing reporting excellent non stop reel burning action this morning on our first 3 hour charter only 15 minutes into it. 10 minutes from Dana Point Harbor and right in our back yard ( the point) the pulses are racing right now! Epic 25-40 pound Yellowtail ( Amberjack) in 40 feet of water 200 yards from shore. Calico Bass, Pacific Barracuda and nice fighting Bonito everywhere - were surrounded right now with bird diving and fish boiling on the surface. We have a six hour charter after this 3 hour where we will target big Tuna and Dorado (Mahi- Mahi) as well. RockenReel Sportfishing reporting a nice mako so far today, lots of Barracuda, Bass and Bonito on our Three hour charters today so far. We are on a six hour right now catching lots of Bass and half way throuh. We caught a nice Mako Shark so far half way through the six hour. Excellent fishing because of the epic 73 degree water temperature in front of Dana Point Harbor!
