I ran two night snook trips this week and they were hungry. Jim woods from Atlanta fished with me using light tackle spin gear. The snook were feeding on 3/4 inch tiny minnow which can be problematic on spinning gear since it is difficult to cast such a small bait imitation, but I came prepared and brought a bunch of teeny white and glow freshwater pan fish jigs that did the trick. They were a challenge to cast wih medium weight rods but a split shot just above got them out there. Later that week I fished Brad from Cashiers NC who was referred to me by Brookings Anglers where I guide out of in the summer. Brad is a Fly fisherman which is excellent for night snook fishing and imitating the small baits. Brad had a great night catching multiple fish up to 26 inches on the fly rod
