Trip Summary
The Lady Pamela II charterboats have been catching hammerheads this week for those anglers that are willing to brave the big swells offshore. The northeaster has pushed fair amounts of sargassum seaweed in toward shore so we have seen some 10-15 lb. mahi close to the reef edge. There are plenty of blackfin tunas around, as well as king mackerel outside the reef. Bottomfishing for vermilion snappers and gray tilefish has been exceptionally productive.
By Saturday the winds are supposed to move back around to the southeast, so I expect some nice sailfish off the kites this weekend.
