Trip Summary

The summer-like weather we have been experiencing here in West Michigan over the last week has caused our river temps to rise and fired up the smallmouth bass. We target smallmouth with a variety of techniques. They are a very aggressive fish and will usually bite all day. They are a fun fish to play with in the river current!

We are back at it running charters and the fishing is good. We have 3 solid months to chase warmwater river species ahead of us. Smallmouth bass, walleye and northern pike. These are high action trips and the summer river scenery is awesome. And its never too early to book your fall salmon or steelhead trip with the chance to catch a trophy fish. These are popular trips and the prime dates go fast.
