Outer Banks Cobia Spanish Bonita Sharks!

Great start to the season thus far! Ive hooked bluefin tunas on the last 4 trips. Fish to 250lbs! These fish move through along our beaches in early April and are gone in a few weeks. Unbelievable fishery though 400lb fish busting in 30ft of water just off the beach line is a sight to see. Weve also landed sea bass scup anda few small sharks.

Ive been in the boat yard painting the bottom changing zincs a new stearn bearing. Installed a new garmin side scan to go along with my furuno fish finders . Going overboard Monday hopefully ready for the season. My first trips are the first week of April ,last season we enjoyed a great Apr with nice blues sharks sea bass porgy and a few red drum and black drum at the end if the month. Look for the cobia to run around the first week in may
