King salmon fishing in Frankfort has been excellent the past 7 or 8 days. The season is staring off much earlier than in recent past years with very good sized fish for this early in the season. The weekend of May 17 we will be fishing for or 13th nor 14th year in the charity "Tight Lines for Troops" tournament down the coast 25 miles in Manistee where the fishing has also been excellent. This is a yearly tourament where veterans fish for free and are then honored in a big banquet.
