Spectacular Summertime fishing is still hot and heavy drifting the mid-bay reefs with live croaker. This past week we have had full boxes at the end of the day. I have had a lot of speckled trout as well as a few awesome flounder starting to show. But This time of year fishing can get it pretty brutal by 9 a. M. With the sun beating down and little to no wind. That's why I am really looking forward 2 some of the finest fishing Texas coast has to offer coming this fall. Most people don't realize but when we start having those first Cool Front sweep through our bay system it will push shrimp out of the rivers marshes and estuaries into the bay creating a Feeding Frenzy. Speckled trout and redfish will team up with seagulls and feast! If you've never experienced fishing flocks of birds on big schools of redfish and trout you definitely need to come down and get in on the action. These fish are so hungry that they will hit anything you throw at them. Don't let the end of summer be the end of your fishing and family fun. Beat the heat and come fall fishing!
