September 22 2018
Hello everyone, so far 2018 has been the wettest year on record, hopefully that will be the end of that and we will be able to get back to Smallmouth and Walleye fishing. With the high muddy water we have seen the catfish Fishing has been incredible, we are catching big numbers of fish and very good size. Year to date Big Channel Cat out of my boat is 10.50 pounds. There has also been many others caught in the 9 and 10 pound range just not as large as Jeremy’s. Getting back to Smallmouth it looks like a dry spell is moving in so Fishing for them should pick up dramatically especially with the shorter days and cooler temps. Fall Smallmouth is mostly jerkbait and topwater Fishing and swimbaits. I have a few good October dates left book soon before their gone.
