Trip Summary

Rick and Tom from Florida came in to catch some redfish this week. They were referred to Victory Bay Charters by their buddies who had a great trip with us last month. We got a late start to let the sun warm things up. Despite strong winds and muddy water, Rick and Tom put a three man limit of redfish in the boat by noon. Live cocahoes from Island Marina and Gulp Shrimp were just what the fish wanted. What a great time it was, watching them slam the reds and hearing about their methods to catch trout and reds in Florida. Looking forward to being on the water with these two gentlemen again.

Donna and Lorraine returned to the Bluewave for a quick trip recently. The ladies put their share of fish in the boat using live shrimp and artificial baits. Mr. Jim returned last fall for his annual Fall trip. He enjoyed beautiful weather along with easy catching. Took about an hour for him to put his share of trout in the boat with a few extras. Liz and Nick returned for another fun day on the Bluewave recently. We covered over 30 miles of water, finding a slow trout bite every bit of the way. The last hour of the trip the wind died, giving us perfect conditions for sight fishing redfish. They caught enough to save the day and kept a couple for the trip home. Captain Drake Morvant
