Trip Summary

The past couple of nights the flounder action has been nice with limits happening quick, higher tides, short boat rides, and only having to make one stop, along with some fatter fish has made for some happy customers stepping off the boat!! Mostly all my fish the past two nights have came off of big mats of dead sea grass right up against the banks. **hidden content** Neal Dunn and Group of 2 with a 10 flounder limit!! **hidden content**ST TRIP! Josh Balk and Group of 4 with their 20 flounder limit!! LATE TRIP! The Stacks Family of 2 with their 10 flounder limit!! Thank y’all for the trips!

1-2-20 Couldn’t have asked for a better night out on the boat last night. Conditions were amazing with light winds and clear water for Darrell Scanlan and Group of five. It was their first time gigging and we got on the fish right from the get-go! We ended the night with their 25 flounder limit and 3 sheepshead!! (1 person not pictured) Thanks guys for the trip. ??

The past four nights the gigging has remained good except one night. The lighter winds the past couple of nights, the water clarity has been the best that I’ve seen in a while. The tide level is still very high and bait fish are hiding somewhere else, seeing hardly any while gigging. Mostly all the fish have been laying on a hard sand bottom with some on dead grass, tight up against the bank and tucked up underneath mangrove trees. It’s been taking 3-3.5 hours to find a 20 flounder limit.
