Trip Summary
Trip Summary
Spanish mackerel everywhere from close in to out 100 foot. Kingfish are spotty outside 50 feet. Cobia close to shore as well as on m-reefs and bait schools in 50-90 feet.
We Ended red snapper season well with all of our full day charters having our recreational limits of fish to 19 lbs this week. Red Grouper bite varied, but got better towards end of week catching 1/2 our limits (6 fish) on
Bad days to limiting (12 fish) on
Better days depending on the length of the charter. We had our best bites in **hidden content** feet and caught nice size Gag Grouper this week to a nice 18 lbs! Caught out deep in 170 feet and deeper. Jolt head porgies caught to 13 lbs as well as Red Porgies to 2-3 lbs out in 160 feet and deeper on cut bait and squid. Permit caught on Crabs on M-reefs as well as barracuda, Bonita, and Amberjack which opens this week! Blackfin Tuna caught to 23 lbs out in 150 feet on free lined sardines and cigar minors. Big finetooth shark 7 feet as well as smaller ones 2-3 feet caught out deep. Bull sharks and lots of other sharks around as well. The action is here, both nearshore, inshore and offshore so lets go fishing!
