Chilly temperatures and a negative low tide didn't stop the fun aboard High Class Hooker Charters. We started out in Osprey but the bite was slow so I made the decision to run a little north and see if we could get on a better bite in a little deeper water. After a brief run we pulled into an area of slightly deeper water with plenty of Mangrove shoreline and structure.
Almost immediately we started catching fish and the bite remained strong the rest of the morning. My client landed double digit numbers of Redfish including an amazing over-slot sized fish. The day also saw great numbers of Sheepshead, Black Drum, and Mangrove Snapper with a few smaller Snook mixed in.
Plenty of fillets went home after this trip for a tasty meal.
