Regular customers Mr. Kevin and son Taylor book several trips a year with me and recently came out to enjoy the great Redfish action VBC proides. We departed the Lake Catherine area at sunrise and made an easy ride to the marsh. Mr. Kevin's first cast produced a 17" Redfish, then shortly after Taylor started catching. We would pull a few from one spot, leave them biting to check another spot, find more fish, and again move on to the next spot to find more hungry fish. Normally I wouldn't be leaving hungry fish to find more fish, but with excellent conditions and a specific species of bait that recently moved into the area, I was sure the Reds would be having a feast all day. The last spot we hit produced a few trout and good sized Reds which was a perfect ending to another fun time on the water with these guys. This fun Redfish action will continue through September. Morning trips are more productive than evening trips. I have some openings in July, August, and September. My boat and gear are cleaned after every trip. I guarantee fish on every trip.
