The Striper Bass are so numerous in Lake Texoma that most good guides can get their limit in no more than 3-4 hours fishing. Yesterday 40 fish in less than 3 hours and 4 hours today. Not that that is a standard or a goal but they are schooling big time and all over the top schooling at times. It is not unusual to catch 2-3 fish at a time, since I troll with umbrella rigs. It is a hot feeding period right now, ensuring fantastic fishing for some time. I have guided this lake for 24 years both side of the lake, before on Okla and now Texas side of the lake.
