July 7 All Day Wreck Fishing Trip Well if the weather gets any better I'm gonna have to set on my hands to keep from clapping. WOW ...it has been an amazing streak of beautiful days Off today with the Ring Clan. These guys were on the boat last year on July 30 when I got bit by the shark!!! Catching live bait this morning was a chore......it took a while but it paid off in the end. We started out live baiting a wreck and did well on the Amber Jacks and Almaco Jacks. We then switched over to bottom fishing with light spinning tackle and caught Triggerfish,Seabass,and Vermillion Snapper. After that we tried trolling for the Dolphin (Mahi) and found no love.
