Trip Summary

We are in the middle of August in Texas, its hot and so is the fishing! Live bait is the way right now, and when we say live bait we mean it. Bait needs to be as lively as possible, changing shad every few minutes is how we are getting good numbers. We are starting the day leaving the dock in the dark and once the sun comes above the horizon it is hammer time for between a hour and a half and 2 hours for white bass. Once the white bass bite dies off we are switching gears and heading out to the brush piles and submerged timber to chase some crappie down with livescope.
