Trip Summary

this group that went out with me Friday morning was still a little upset because they're all shorter trip had gotten canceled the day before. They figured the captain said he was going on vacation and wanted to leave a day early. Just the same I enjoyed having them on my boat and warn them off the bat that women catch bigger fish than men on my boat and there was only one woman. it's always nice when a plan comes together we went out and caught a few ribbon fish as a appetizer and then went out deeper and was able to catch some Albacore for a fun fight. I really enjoyed this group and I hope they enjoyed their trip on my boat from the crew the fishing Taxi book us and let us take you fishing

We had a wonderful group from Pennsylvania yesterday. Wanted to take them out to do a little bit of sound fishing unfortunately a nor'easter was blowing 20 mph so we couldn't exactly go and set up on the shoulders like I was hoping to try to catch a drum or a speckled trout. And the rest of the fleet was also fishing in the sound because they could not get across the inlet because it was so rough. We were able to go around the back side of the island and trolling trolling in somewhat calm Waters and were able to get a catch of six Spanish mackerel and a nice size blue fish. Although not the best trip that I would want for my group in the sound but still I believe they had fun.

August is a special time the water gets warm in the fish come in near the beach so you don't have to go out so far. With the Deep six it gives us time to run off the beach about 10 miles and start trying to catch something we ended up with three mahi a king Michael but we missed four other Mahi in a sailfish bite
