Boulder Junction, WI is considered the Muskie Capital of the World ! Dave started coming up taking a few day off of work in 2008 and after catching his first legal muskie in 2010 he started to take his vacations in Boulder Junction. Dave considers Boulder Junction as one of the friendliest towns to stay at. You get to see the faces that own the businesses and he is on a first name basis with all the owners and the staff. When I fish with him I get to see him get welcomed back to the area ! I have had the pleasure of getting Dave his First Legal Muskie in 2010. Since then I have netted 99 of his 102 Muskies and was proud to witness him catching the 100th Milestone Muskie. Dave keeps a diary of all his catches and 26% of the muskies he has caught are 40 inches or greater. I have added photos of his first legal and some of his personal best muskies.
