Trip Summary

On a split charter or headboat, your fellow anglers might have different expectations. One of the many great things about a private charter is that you get to say when you’ve had enough. Within a few minutes at our first stop in about 30’, we were getting hammered by grouper, including this nice red caught on fresh ballyhoo plugs. The weather was great, but still, one of our guests felt nauseous. With dinner in the ice box, the group agreed to head into the beach for a dip, before finding a sheltered channel. We caught yellowtail, gray snapper, remora, mutton snapper, lane snapper, grunts, barracudas and sharks, one after the other for the next couple hours. Catching a nice one is a great way to start or finish the day, but ultimately, its about your group’s combined experience. We’d love to host you!
