Trip Summary

Patsy and Bill enjoyed a fun morning on the water with me. I had recently taken out Bill's son, and he caught 75 trout, so the pressure was on to duplicate the same success. At our first stop of the day we found an easy bite, but had to weed through a lot of smaller Trout. After putting 20 or so Trout into the cooler, the crowds started to close in around us, shutting down the bite. We made a few more moves, but each time they'd catch a few, several boats would move too close to us. Finally I decided to make a long run north to escape the weekend craziness. It ended up being a good move as we found some SOLID Trout with not another boat in sight. Just the way I like it. By 11 am we were out of shrimp and decided to call it a day. Patsy caught the biggest, and most fish of the day. Another great trip with great people. Captain Drake Morvant
