Redfish
Trip Summary
Trip Summary
Fishing has been hot in the Mosquito Lagoon! Fish have been holding steady in 1-3 feet of water feeding on bait. Wind has been steady so finding areas of protection are the key. We have been hugging the islands on the east side of the lagoon and finding numerous tailing and pushing red fish. What a beautiful sight to see! Early morning tailing red fish are my favorite. After we spot the fish, we are making a along cast using a FLATS HQ Flats swimmer in the pumpkin pattern on a 1/4 oz jig head and the reds have just been crushing it! Other effective baits have been a Johnson Gold Spoon and a FLATS HQ top water plug. Attached you will see 2 of the larger fish caught on of one of this weeks trips! Book a trip today and lets come tight to a monster red fish!
