Trip Summary
Despite cold, windy conditions with roiled waters, we have managed to put together some good catches. I have to remind myself it's still only April, with plenty good fishing still to come.
The star of the show has been the large black drum in the surf. These hard pulling heavy weights average a whopping 30 lbs.! In the bay the flounder are fickle. Some days on, some days gone. The schoolie striped bass have saved more than one trip, with John from WVA. putting on a good show with a fly rod.
Warming temps next week should break things wide open. Stay Tuna'd! Aloha
