Trip Summary
Today I have the pleasure of having a father and son duo sharing time together and making memories. It started out rough with the stiff north wind. We were able to catch a few freshwater cats with dead bait early. As the morning wore on, the seas laid down and the trout started taking live cochahoe minnows and lemon shad matrix. We also caught several nice flounders, white, trout, and croakers. The day turned out to be beautiful and my guests had a great time spending time together. The trout bite is really good right now and flounders are being caught on every trip. Live shrimp will be available soon and the fishing will even be more productive. I have openings in May for Lake Pontchartrain and in June – August for Shell Beach charters. Go to **hidden content** for more information on how to book your charter.
