We had two wonderful people that came with us today for a 6-hour trip. I told them as an appetizer we would try to catch some Spanish mackerel and blue fish and then when the sun got high enough we would move into Cobia mode. So we ended up down near roade Anthonie and had a good bite on the Spanish mackerel first thing in the morning and then like a light switch it was cut off and no more fish bit wind started picking up and the water started getting choppy with lots of cloud cover and rain showers. We fished our way back to inlet trying to find this wonderful pair of Cobia and unfortunately it did not work out some king mackerel being caught so we put down a king mackerel rig and was hoping that that would also help out but we never found a king. Still a wonderful group and glad to have them on the boat from the crew of the no sweat tight lines and happy trails
