What a bad day to be a fish! Snapper season officially opened in the northern Gulf of Mexico for federal waters on 6/1. With the weather being outstanding ft here were lots and lots of anxious anglers ready to catch the big one. Butch Vance from Prattville Al did just that on the Jus Cuz charter boat out of Orange Beach. Butch managed to catch a 37" 30# fish that gave him quite a battle. While he was doing battle with his fish, several other anglers were also doing the same with 18# fish of their own.
