It was a little nautical this morning for our a.m half day group so they decided they wanted to switch gears and come back inshore to fish for mackerel, flounder, and striped bass. As always we are happy to accomadate. There was an abundance of mackerel caught on the sabiki jigs, and some striped bass action to boot! Certainly a trip for the books, with plenty of variety and an awesome family to fish with. For our p.m half day the seas had layed down quite a bit and we headed out haddock fishing with another great group. Plenty of action and some very sizeable haddock, with hake and whiting in the mix as well. It seems the bigger haddock are starting to move in! All in all it was a beautiful summer day on the water, with two amazing groups of people.
