IT'S FISHING NOT CATCHING! A tough old day at the office yesterday, after an action packed Thursday, hopes were high for a repeat performance……the fish did not get the memo unfortunately! Father & son duos Jamie & T and Kody & Kolton from Texas joined us aboard GOOD DAY. We fished a perfect debris line in the morning which any other day would have been loaded with mahi, today we couldn’t even catch a Bonito off it. We pushed out further and found two different Tuna schools, the Tuna were holding deep and would surface momentarily now and again before disappearing back down and again we could not get a bite. Thankfully 10 year old Kolton caught his first ever Sailfish, a nice fish which measured 102” & we tagged for Gray FishTag Research. The guys were delighted! So a slow old day fishing wise but our 7 & 10 year old youngsters got a life lesson that it’s called Fishing and not Catching but had a great time out there.
