Trip Summary

Beautiful and calm day out on the ocean. Very warm water temperatures made fishing extremely challenging and we only had one bite all day. However, we capitalized on that planer bite and boated this nice 45lb Wahoo! Tuna and Wahoo fishing should turn on in the coming weeks as water temperatures cool.

Right now, we are catching the biggest Black Sea Bass we’ve ever seen in North Carolina. Our six hour and eight hour offshore trips provide great action with this delicious bottom fish. This is the best time of year to target them.

The spring Atlantic Bonito fishing has been great on our 3 hour and 4 hour nearshore fishing trips. As the Bonito move out for the season, Spanish Mackerel will move in. Plus, we always have steady action bottom fishing on our nearshore trips.
