Fall moving to Winter

Trip Summary

As the leaves on the cypress trees lose their vibrancy and the cold fronts slip south, the fish shift from their summertime haunts and slide into new territory. Luckily I've been able to find some of those areas this year and they have rewarded nicely. 72 degree weather and full sun led to some epic sight fishing days. Everyday is different and there's no telling what you might run into in the Everglades backcountry... A snook laid up on a mudflat, a redfish tailing in the grass looking for crabs, a tarpon blooping down a shoreline at first light, or a mass frenzy of jacks blowing up an acre of sardines; whatever it may be it's exciting to see the symphony of nature as it flows and ebbs with the tides. Most of these situations and sights wouldn't have been possible if it were not for my 17' RAM-X Scanoe; It's draft, silent poling ability and displacement are unparalleled. I highly recommend asking me if the conditions are good enough to use the canoe on our charter as I catch more fish out of it than any other boat I've guided off of combined. I also now have access to a Hell's Bay Waterman skiff and for fly fishing clients there is no better platform in my opinion.
