Trip Summary
With some weather that wasn’t going to be ideal for the waters I usually fish, my brother and myself scouted a new area. The water was clean and protected and produced a handful of sheepies, a couple flounder and one trout. I would consider it a success. The following day we went back to that same spot with customers and had similar results. It’s always nice to put a new spot in your back pocket for when the conditions require it! Then we slid out to our typical areas and found a handful of drum, redfish and sheephead. Spring break is just around the corner and the fishing should be great. The spring time is my favorite time of year for a good overall bite! ???
