Trip Summary

Water is heating up. Bass are running around shallow ready to spawn. Im fishing in 2ft-8ft. Marority of the fish have came from 4ft-6ft on the biggest stumps near flats. Im using a weightless zoom fluke 5” water red pearl 5/0 ewg hook 12lb fluorocarbon. 7” power worm plum 3/0 ewg hook 3/16oz weight 14lb fluorocarbon. Lake Fork is fishing pretty good lost of big fish starting to spawn. Been fishing flooded brush and grass on banks. Due to the weather water temp has been ranging from 60 degrees to 66 degrees. Fishing on Fork is starting to heat up. You can catch fish from 2ft - 20ft of water the best range i have found in 10ft-15ft. Tx Rig worms, carolina rig stick baits & drop shots have been then best on brush, road beds & humps. There is a top water bite up shallow along with a swimbait bite as long as there are shad present.
