We are having a banner spring season in Lake Pontchartrain. Yesterday I had Dalton and Dakota from MO on board. We caught 9 different species of fish on live shrimp. Mosly speckled trout but also caught redfish, black drum, flounder, croaker, white trout, and three species of fresh and saltwater catfish. This was only one of the many great trips we had this season. You too can get inonthw action!

I had Stan and his Son Jonah from Illinois on board for a sampling of great Louisiana fishing! We started early and got on some big specks up to 20”. We also hauled in some doormat flounders. We had to move around a little but found another good bite towards the end and put a few more in the box before heading in. Great family memories made!

We had a great trout trip in the lake near the Rigolets today. Two Kevin's from the New Orleans area wanted to get on some trout and we did, The morning started off slow and we were about to leave our first spot when a big trout hit one of our live shrimp and it was on! We boated about 32 trout there before moving to the train tressels where we added 10 more to the box before heading home at noon. We caught trout up to 2 pounds. The bite is very good and conditions should stay good for a few more weeks.
