This is the time of year that we look forward to as fisherman on the Ms. Gulf Coast. Everything comes together in May, and the barrier islands are alive. We have been catching beautiful boxes of big speckled trout averaging 3-5 pounds. Inquire about out night time trout trip. The pics speak for themselves. Slot redfish and big flounder also make appearences under our high power lights we setup over the reefs and rubble around our barrier islands. If you have never pitched baits to giant specks and reds under the lights, it definately will get your heart racing! We have also been doing outstanding on our standard 4 and 6 hour trolling trips around the passes of the islands. The bull reds have shown up in full force and limits have been pretty standard. Plenty of spanish mackeral, jacks,and large sharks are being caught trolling along with the reds. Right now is as good as we have seen fishing in quite awhile. If you havent called and gotten on the books yet, dont wait much longer as the calender is filling up fast! Snapper season is fast approaching as well. We expect another banner year for those as well with big cobia in the mix as well.
