In the past two weeks several large pods of bass have taken up home in Boston. Honestly its still seems early to me but after yesterday's 6/01/22 last minute trip its a[apparent . The feed is on! No problem finding bait , Mackerel was what we used . However pogy's and herring are also abundant . First drift we netted 3 fish and had boat limit by 930am.. All the bass we're between 29-33 inches 12 total on a six hour charter. Flounder bite is still going on and is a great option for the kiddos.
