Trip Summary

Mark and his Grandson Preston were back with Chip and his son Taylor. These North Dakota and Colorado anglers did an awesome job running the Off Shore Tackle Company planner boards. Setting TruTrip S and Dipseys. We headed out of West Harbor and sought some island relief until the East winds backed down. We boxed half our limit in calm water then headed to the open water. Bandits 60 to 80 back. TruTrip 50s 35 back with Bandits and Flicker Minnows. TruTrip 40s with BADMO LURES Arrowhead spoons. Dipsey 3 serving 40 back with Arrowhead spoons. Speed was 2.1 to 2.6 mph. Sheephead over 8 lbs and along with smaller eyes in our mix today. #lakeeriewalleye #offshoretackle #familyfishing #marblehead #BigFishTuff

With the 25 mph overnight winds, we opted to delay our start to just after 10 am. I picked up Mike and Holly at the East Harbor Marina office and we headed of in search of clean water. This was their first time on Lake Erie. We ran to the line and set our Off Shore Tackle Company planner boards with Reef Runner Tackle Company Deep Lil Rippers 65 back 2oz. Offshore OR 12 boards with Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 40s running BADMO LURES Arrowhead spoons 40 and 55 back. On the corners we ran TruTrip 50s 30 and 45 back with J7s and Jointed Flicker Shad. Dipsey 3 setting 30 and 42 back. Speed was 2.1 mph into and with the waves. We were all reelers today. We fun fished for a bit after our 18 were on Ice. We still have Sunday and Monday available. #BlackH2oDog #lakeeriewalleye #marblehead #lakeside #portclinton

Vanessa reached out for an Island pick-up Walleye Experience for her two sons. They are on the Island by way of Arkansas to assist with snake counting this weekend. After picking up at KI, we headed SE of KI and set our gear. Girvan and Eamon got a workout today constantly setting the Off Shore Tackle Company OR-12 boards and the Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s on the corners. Program was Reef Runner Tackle Company Deep Lil Rippers 70 back assisted 2oz and unassisted 70 back. TruTrip 50s with J7s 30 and 50 back. Dipsey 3 setting 36 and 42 back. We also ran 2 TruTrip 40s on the Starboard side 50 back behind Offshore boards with BADMO LURES Arrowhead spoons. We handled well over 50 Walleye this morning. Andrew, Jeremy, Seth and John up from Knoxville Tennessee are here for two days. We got out this afternoon just after 3pm. This crew is new to trolling and boy did they get it right away. Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 40s and 50s did a great job getting our BADMO LURES Arrowhead spoons to the Walleye in the South passege. We were all reelers today. Including a lot of catch and release. 30 nice Eyes are headed to Sassy Sal Fish Cleaning. TruTrip 40s 20 back were a great at 2.1 mph. TruTrip 50s 27 back with jointed flicker shad Dipsey 3 setting 28 back with FJ 7s. Speed was 2.2 mph #BlackH2oDog #lakeeriewalleye #lakelife #marblehead #lakeside
