Trip Summary
The Fishing Taxi had a great group of young men who decided to go fishing with us for their high school graduation present. Just days after the latest Nor'Easter that swept through our area, the Atlantic started to calm her waves and allow us to get over the treacherous Oregon inlet bar. We trolled the horizon looking for cobia who have been migrating from Florida to Virginia but none to be seen. In the midst of looking for cobia, we snagged a few ribbon fish. The boys had never seen or caught them before so they were extremely thrilled to land the eel looking fish with long ravor sharp teeth. They were excited giving one another high fives with each fish hooked and landed. In the end, our goal was complete with 5 extremely happy young men about to embark on their journey of adulthood. This was a trip of a lifetime for them. From the crew of the Fishing Taxi, may your lines stay tight and your smiles stay bright.
