FAMILY FISHING COSTA RICA
July 02, 2022 Quepos 6 photos

Trip Summary

Lots of mini Dorados about today, we caught 16 up to about 12lbs during a 1/2 day trip (no photos of the bigger fish), plus a solitary Bonito. Our 14-17 year old guests from New Jersey had a blast catching them on light tackle & 100% of the fish caught were released. We searched for a Sailfish or Marlin but no luck on that front today. We are thinking of our neighbors in Nicaragua this evening who are taking a direct hit from Tropical Cyclone/Hurricane Bonnie. We are expecting a lot of rain across Costa Rica & some intense winds in the northern part of the country. The weather is ok here in Quepos/Manuel Antonio at the moment but the worst is expected overnight. Fingers crossed for all affected
