Frozen mullet cut bait bottom fishing before lunch on a wreck today we hooked up on the way down. As soon as we saw color, the cobia had company. A smaller cobia followed side by side all the way to the boat! Customers were very happy. 30 pound spider wire, Penn Battle II with a 6 foot 50 pound mono leader, temp outside today 92 degrees. BIG fight on small tackle makes for a fun 26 minute event...

Penn Battle III, white 30 pound spider wire, 6 foot 50 pound mono leader, chicken rig keep on bottom and feel this fish's wake before strike!! Very sensitive... 8 am today, 94 degrees outside on a wreck with lots of smaller action when this big boy bends the rod over. Smaller tackle makes for a fun and exciting fight.
