Typically on our Family and Children charters we target smaller fish that readily bite and are easy to catch for our young anglers. But on this particular morning while fishing for Mangrove Snapper and Sheepshead I spotted some juvenile Tarpon working along a shoreline. One of the kids aboard had already said that he was fascinated with Tarpon and wanted to catch one. So we did. It took a couple tries but he was finally able to land his first Tarpon. After a little longer of targeting Snappers we headed up to a beach we use to find fossilized Shark teeth and the entire family had a blast digging up over 40 sharks teeth to end the day.
