Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report **hidden content** Dock F, IGY Marina. Conditions: The current sea conditions in Cabo San Lucas are slightly calm weather with wind up to 14knots from the 11th to the 14th. Average of 3ft swells, with some wind waves, and a cool weather temperature from low 70s to high 50s. The remainder of the week the wind should calm down alot on both the pacific side and sea of cortez Species: This week can expect to catch a variety of species including; Striped marlin on lures, live bait, and dead bait. Dorado are scarce with the cold water moving in from north. Early bite offshore from the arch. Wahoo bite is slow. Sierra mackerel are biting right now on small green hoochie lures, great fun for the family. Excellent table fare for making ceviche. Roosterfish: A few small roosters biting inshore on the pacific side few miles north. Techniques: Trolling lures up the pacific side, heading a couple of miles offshore is giving excellent results. A few spots producing numbers inshore have to run up the pacific a few miles to get the early bite. Hot Spots: The Pacific side inshore, nearshore trolling, offshore the action has slowed down as the water has cooled to 68 degrees. Few tuna offshore south, some mahi, striped Marlin bites while trolling. Tips: The early morning and late afternoon hours are producing the best fishing. Live bait and lures in bright colors are working well. Overall plenty of action and a variety of species available for anglers of all skill levels.
