Trip Summary

Miciah brought his wife and the boys on a bull red frenzy they will never forget. Capt Preston kept them busy rod bending action on bull reds, sheepshead, drum and whitings. Miciah and his wife teamed up on a pair 42” bull reds. Then one of the boys landed the big 45” 60# of fillets catch and release over 50 bull reds and drum. A gorgeous day to be on the edge of the gulf in Venice Louisiana fishing with my Indiana friends.

Richard Rainer Texas boys came back missing that fellowship and fishing in Venice. He brought his football team mates to drill em on their catching. Rods bent hard on 15-18 lb average 31” RED SNAPPER. Limits of red fish, add pompano, trout, macs, for a full fun day one ??? Poles never stopped all morning until we stopped for lunch and hit em again.

I put Russ and Alex on some quality snapper today. Poles bent, 100ft of water, and 8 beautiful 12-14lb rewards in the box. Requested a pile of sheepshead and finished limiting on redfish. ✅?mission accomplished ? What a beautiful day on the water and enjoyable fellowship with them again on their 8th year fishing with them.

Tab and Justin put it on em today to finish and incredible three day streak of Venice fishing. Limited in 12-14lb snapper. Limited on reds and tossed back over 40. 30 sheep for a lagniappe and boom ? what a great finish. Safe travels back to Virginia with some serious fillets ?
