I fished with the Flores family today on Lake Tawakoni. They came out Sunday afternoon and are staying through tomorrow at Tawakoni Marina . They couldn't say enough nice things about the cabin they stayed in or the fact they could fish on the public.dock there last night. We stopped at two spots without much success, but the third spot was game on! We caught fish non-stop for almost three hours! Maggie, the mom, caught a freshly lost rod and reel and two doubles. Dad, Manny, caught by far the most! He was a fish catching machine! And their daughter, Veronica, caught the biggest! Today was a beautiful day with a wonderful family! I feel very blessed. Tawakoni Marina is under new management, and I am looking forward to meeting the new manager Daniel! He is doing a fantastic job of cleaning everything up and maintaining all the facilities. The great thing about it is you literally wake up, walk to the dock, and get on our boat.
