Usually flounder season peaks in early May. The numbers on the current season would indicate that either we're peaking in mid April or else an incredible best is yet to come. Either way, numerous limits with some very nice fish (20 inch+) are to be had. A few very large dogfish have shown as well. These are hard fighting and great sport on a flounder rod.
